  1. Getting Here & Parking

The address is 415 Highway 14 East, Sheridan, WY. Parking is abundant, but it is in our hayfields, so it is not paved. You’ll be greeted by our team of local cowboys on horseback, please follow their parking directions. It can be a bit of a walk as well, depending on when you arrive. We do offer disabled parking, let them know if you need it! Please do not park on the highway you will get towed!

2. Hours + Entry

The gate opens at 10 AM and closes at 6 PM on both Friday and Saturday, September 19th and 20th, 2024. There is a $5 gate charge that helps pay for barn boys, cowboys, porta-potties, security, live music and so much more. Children under 12 are free!

3. About Pets

No dogs (carried or on leash), rabbits, cats, snakes or lizards (yes, it really happened). I love em, have em, wish they didn’t kill our iconic chickens or bite people, but they do, and it is just too crowded. Please don’t bring them, we will have to turn you away. It is totally okay if you choose your pets over Born in a Barn, I get it, but it is a choice.

3. Food, Drink & Music

We’ve added even more magic to the food field to sustain you and your shopping! This year brings an expanded lineup of amazing food trucks and a wide variety of beverages including beer, cocktails, fresh lemonade, and more. To keep you entertained when you’re not shopping, live music kicks off at noon and plays all afternoon on Friday and Saturday. Be sure to swing by the Koltiska Hay Stage and soak it all up!

4. Cash is King

Speaking of $$. We are in the valley of internet death, we try our best but credit cards don’t always work. Cash is king out here!! We have multiple ATM’s on site but they get drained sometimes too. If possible, obtain your own fat stack of bills in advance, and your life and the vendors will be so much better!!

5. Barn Boys & Large Purchases

The Barn Boys are one of the best thing’s to happen to Born in a Barn!

Are you planning to buy something big? Here’s how it works. The vendor will tag your purchase with your information. The Barn Boys will pick them up and take them to the Kubota Holding Pen so you can shop hands free. When you’re ready to leave, pull up to the holding pen and the Barn Boys will help you get all of your treasures loaded and secure in your rig!

Bring tie-downs, and all the boys do accept tips $$ (Be Generous!)

6. Cell Service

Cell serve is slim to none out here. Unless, you have AT&T and then everyone will want to be your friend! There is no public wifi. It can be hard to make and receive calls or text messages so plan accordingly.

7. Mimosa Mafia!!!

Every year we raise money for the Welch Cancer Center to support their incredible free services for local cancer patients including the Breast Boutique & Resource Room. Which offer complimentary post-surgery products such as mastectomy bras and prosthetics with personalized fittings by trained staff, as well as free wigs, scarves, and hats for patients undergoing treatment. Thats the why!

Now about the how! Look for the Mimosa Mafia, beautiful women in hot pink jumpsuits slinging fresh mimosas. You can find them in the Mimosa Mobile and in the Mafia tent. Every dime of what you spend on Mimosas goes to Welch Cancer Center. Which is only possible because of our incredible sponsors who buy the glasses, champagne and orange juice. Our incredible sponsors include the team at First Northern Bank, incredible local company American Outfitters and the original Mafia Don Gunpowder & Cabernet! Last year we raised $13,000 to donate! These too are CASH only.

8. Vendors

Finally, and most importantly are my vendors! Every year we go through hundreds of applications to bring you a wide variety of exceptional makers, craftsman, antique dealers, junkers and so much more. The vendor line up this year is FIRE!! We highlight our vendors on social media leading up to the show. To see photos of what will be here follow us on Facebook and Instagram!!

9. The Afterparty

The first annual Disco Ball at the Mint Bar will be Saturday, September 20th starting at 8 PM. Cowboy Disco is the theme and the fit!! We will have a live DJ spinning disco, dancing, theme drinks, costume awards and so much fun!!

Thank you for thinking of Born in a Barn!! We hope to see you soon!
