About Born in a Barn
Born in a Barn was founded with 6 vendors in 2011, as an outlet for my serious addiction to all things up-cycled, refurbished, vintage, handcrafted and unique. While it might have started as a small barnyard swap, it has exploded into an annual community staple with live music, cocktails, a field of food and more than 90 vendors and creators handpicked via application.
We welcome more than 8,000+ guests to our little ranch outside of Sheridan, Wyoming. While the show is bigger now, it has stayed very personal. It’s not just hosted at our home, it’s staffed by friends, family and our community supporters who volunteer their time and talent.
It’s like the best family reunion I’ve ever been to! We host it every September, 2 weeks after Labor Day. There is plenty of parking in the field, with cowboys on horseback to park you and Barn Boys to help cart your treasures away and load them in your vehicle (some even pull trailers for their haul). Plan to spend the whole day and maybe both days shopping, eating, drinking coffee, mimosa’s, crafted beer and cocktails while enjoying our stellar line up of live music. And Sheridan also has an iconic Main Street with the best shopping, eating and after hours at one of our historic watering holes!!
I’ll be holding down the fort at World Headquarters. Stop by and say Hi!

For many years, Born in a Barn was run from a clipboard with family at the gate, and friends helping at the booths. What began as a one-woman show has grown into a show that takes half a year and a small team but the heart of it hasn’t changed.
Today, it’s still powered by a creative crew of family and friends who help bring the magic to life each year. These are folks who give more than they take, who show up early, stay late, and understand that Born in a Barn is a love letter to the Sheridan Community.
